When the ownership group behind Interskate Roller Rink purchased the long-vacant Freed's Furniture showroom, half the building still needed a tenant that could generate stable revenue — in a property zoned industrial, in a faded furniture district. Larry Robbins worked with the City of Farmers Branch to create an entertainment district overlay, then delivered 11 Max Indoor Fun Park: a 2,000-person family entertainment venue that now fills to capacity on weekends, with the roller rink opening right alongside it.
