Get To Know Capstone Commercial Health Services' New Partner
Debi Carter recently joined Capstone Commercial Health Services as a partner to specialize in leasing and sales of medical and dental offices. Debi will head Capstone’s recently formed health services division. We caught up with Debi to get to know her and hear more about her new role.
Bisnow: How are things going so far in your new role as health services partner at Capstone?
Debi: Capstone is a good fit for me with its collaborative and entrepreneurial atmosphere. The healthcare business is great. We’ve already gotten a leasing assignment for medical office space owned by Healthcare REIT in the Baylor Scott & White MOB in Frisco, just south of Baylor Scott & White’s new sports medicine facility. We’re also working on several new medical office development projects.
Bisnow: What are you most looking forward to about joining Capstone?
Debi: I’m excited to be given the opportunity to build a healthcare client base. Help promote their properties. I’ve been working in this space for 15 years, but the difference now is that I’ll be heading up a whole division of healthcare brokers and agents. I now have the resources to offer more exposure from the landlord perspective, which helps me expand my base. Read Full Story
Bisnow: What inning are we in?
Debi: Eighth, but we could go into overtime. Several indications show we’re overbuilding in multifamily and that overbuilding is creeping into office. We’re not overbuilt in healthcare—though maybe in ER centers.
